Visit the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii in one day! Request our Pompeii and Amalfi Coast tour from Naples and plan your perfect day trip. Our English speaking licensed driver will pick you up from Naples and drive you to Pompeii (entrance fee not included) for a fantastic walking tour into the UNESCO-listed roman ruins. He will then continue to Positano and Amalfi (or Ravello) Your day tour will finish with the transportation back to Naples. Tour layout may vary due to traffic or special events on the specific day.
Please note: On the first Sunday of each month, admission to Pompeii ruins is free and we can't reserve tickets in advance. They have to be bought on the spot and there will probably be a long line and there is also the possibility that tickets may sell out. In that case you'll be able to visit Herculaneum that normally is less crowded.

Journey Plan
The tour will start from Naples, as it's a private trip you will decide the pick up location, either from your hotel or any address in Naples. You will travel with an air-conditioned luxury sedan car or minivan driven by a professional English speaking local driver that will introduce you the history and main sights that you will see during your trip.
Departing from Naples we will drive you to Pompeii, here you will have 2 hours to vist the UNESCO-listed ruins of Pompeii. Buried under the pumice and ash of Mt Vesuvius’ 79 AD eruption, the once-thriving city remained preserved under the rubble. Today, it offers a fascinating look into ancient Roman life (entrance ticket at own expense). We suggest you to book an expert guide in Pompeii to better understand the importance of this archaeological site, the most important in the World! Guide is not included, the cost is 160 Euro for 2 hours.
After the visit to the ruins your driver you will take you to the Amalfi Coast that includes Positano, Amalfi (or Ravello), there are also other beautiful town along the coast, you can decide where to stop and which other city you would like to visit.
First stop will be either in Ravello or Amalfi according to your preference.
Ravello is situated in a more elevated position then Amalfi boasting exceptional views of the coast and its marvellous villas and iconic cliffside gardens. Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone are a must see places.
Amalfi, you can visit the iconic multi-colored 9th-century Arab-Norman Sant'Andrea cathedral or browse the rows of shops along the town’s side-streets.
Final stop will be in Positano, a tiered village built onto the side of the cliffs with a pebble beachfront and steep, narrow streets lined with boutiques and cafes.
Any time during your tour you have Time for lunch (not included) our driver can suggest the best place to stop for lunch based on your taste.
This full day tour will finish driving you back to Naples.
