Journey Plan
The tour will start from Naples, as it's a private trip you will decide the pick up location, either from your hotel or any address in Naples. You will travel with an air-conditioned luxury sedan car or minivan driven by a professional English speaking local driver that will introduce you the history and main sights that you will see during your trip.
First stop will be in Sorrento, one of the most important and beautiful towns in southern Italy. Spend some free time walking through the streets with shops selling handmade ceramics, lacework and intarsio (marquetry items), famously produced in this area.
Then we will hit the most scenic coastal road in Italy: The Amalfi Coast that includes Positano, Amalfi (or Ravello), there are also other beautiful towns along the coast, you can decide where to stop and which other city you would like to visit.
First stop will be in Positano, a tiered village built onto the side of the cliffs with a pebble beachfront and steep, narrow streets lined with boutiques and cafes.
About 1 hour drive from Positano we will arrive in Amalfi, visiting the iconic multi-colored 9th-century Arab-Norman Sant'Andrea cathedral or browsing the rows of shops along the town’s side-streets.
When it’s time for lunch (not included) our driver can suggest the best place where to stop for based on your taste and preferences
You can decide to visit Ravello instead Amalfi. situated in a more elevated position then Amalfi boasting exceptional views of the coast and its marvellous villas and iconic cliffside gardens. Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone are a must see places.
This full day tour will finish driving you back to Naples.
