Then will continue to Pompeii (entrance fee not included) for a fantastic walking tour into the UNESCO-listed roman ruins. Your day tour will finish with the transportation back to Naples port.

Journey Plan
The shore excursion will start from Naples port, our driver will wait for you by the dockside with a tag with your surname on it. You will travel with an air-conditioned luxury sedan car or minivan driven by a professional english speaking local driver that can introduce you the history and main sights that you will see during your trip.
Departing from Naples we will hit the highway and then the most scenic coastal road in Italy: The Amalfi Coast that includes Positano, Amalfi (or Ravello), there are also other beautiful town along the coast, you can decide where to stop and which other city you would like to visit.

From Amalfi we will drive you to Pompeii, here you will have 2 hours to vist the UNESCO-listed ruins of Pompeii. Buried under the pumice and ash of Mt Vesuvius’ 79 AD eruption, the once-thriving city remained preserved under the rubble. Today, it offers a fascinating look into ancient Roman life (entrance ticket at own expense). We suggest you to book an expert guide in Pompeii to better understand the importance of this archaeological site, the most important in the World! Guide is not included, the cost is 150 Euro for 2 hours.
This full day tour will finish driving you back to Naples port in time for your ship departure.
