Overview

Visit the Royal Palace of Caserta and Naples with a day tour from Sorrento. Our English speaking driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Sorrento and will drive to Caserta Royal Palace to let you stroll around the gardens and interiors of the castle. After the lunch (own expense) we will tour Naples with our vehicle, you can decide where to stop and what to visit: we are at your complete disposal.

Journey Plan

The tour will start from Sorrento, as it's a private trip you will decide the pick up location, either from your hotel or any address in Sorrento or nearby towns. You will travel with an air-conditioned luxury sedan car or minivan driven by a professional English speaking local driver that will introduce you the history and main sights that you will see during your trip.

After a comfortable ride in your vehicle of about 1 hour and 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Royal Palace of Caserta. Here you have about 2/3 hours to visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site constructed for the Bourbon kings of Naples. The Royal Palace of Caserta is one of the largest palaces built in Europe during the 18th century. You can spend your time visiting the wonderfully kept gardens with fountains and cascades and also the beautiful rooms inside the palace. The guide is optional and it will cost 160 Euro for a tour of about 2 hours.

Second stop is in Naples, where you can visit the most important sights in the city, like: Cappella San Severo with Veiled Christ, Church of Gesù Nuovo, San Gregorio Armeno, Santa Chiara cloister, Piazza Plebiscito, Maschio Angioino etc... All ticket entrances are at your own expense.

Your journey will finish driving you back to Sorrento.
